August 16, Wednesday: First Day of School
September 4, Monday: Labor Day- No School
September 8, Friday: School begins in the Church for the Liturgy of the Feast of the Nativity of the Theotokos. Classes begin at 9:30.
September 14, Thursday: School begins in the Church for the Liturgy of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Classes begin at 9:30.
October 18, Wednesday: Last day of the first academic quarter.
October 23, Monday: No School-Teacher Planning Day
November 20-24, Monday thru Friday: Thanksgiving Break
December 6, Wednesday: School begins in the Church for the Liturgy of the Feast of St. Nicholas, the Patron of our school. Refreshments served at 9:30. Classes begin at 10:00 am.
December 15, Friday: Last day of school; Christmas holiday follows.
January 2, Tuesday: School begins for the year 2024
January 6, Friday: School closed for the services of the Feast of Theophany of Our Lord.
January 15, Monday: No school on Martin Luther King Day
January 16, Tuesday: Last day of the first semester
February 2, Friday: School begins in the Church for the Liturgy of the Feast of the Meeting of our Lord in the Temple. Classes begin at 9:30.
February 26, Monday: No school-Teacher Planning Day
March 20, Wednesday: Last day of third academic quarter
March 25, Monday: School begins in the Church for the Liturgy of the Feast of the Annunciation. Classes begin at 9:30.
April 1, Monday: No School-Teacher Planning Day
May 2,3, and 6-10: Holy Thursday thru Bright Friday: Paschal Holiday
May 13, Monday: School resumes
May 27, Monday: Memorial Day- No School
June 4, Tuesday: Last day of the second semester and of the school year.
**Late class schedules will be announced if weekday Liturgy for Feast days conflicts with school usual opening time.
***Our school closes for inclement weather when the Atlanta Public Schools close.***
